Ear Training with Moleskin and Tape


Variety of supplies needed for both moleskin or caulk saver methods.
Get Allegro Medical Skin Bond:
Bonding cement #554536
Uni-solve remover # 177428

 

Step 1


Apply skin bond to inside of ear with brush.

 

Step 2


Allow to air dry to tacky about 3-5 minutes.

 

Step 3


Cut to size moleskin is applied from the bottom to the top.

 

Step 4


Shows position of the moleskin just above the wrinkle.

 

Step 5


Make sure front of ear is not attached.

 

Step 6


With 10-12inch piece of tape, start the wrap making sure front
of ear is flat under the tape.

 

Step 7


Go around ear and aim downwards, as you begin towards the
front angle upwards.

 

Step 8


The wrap is kept loose, NEVER stretch the tape and never pull it tight.

 

Step 9


Gently press the loose tape until it becomes snug to the ear.

 

Step 10


Wrap the second ear with tape being applied in the opposite direction
as you did the first ear.

 

Step 11


They should resemble this.

 

Step 12


Fold duct tape three times and cut an angle on both sides.

 

Step 13


Measure the wedge so it fits between the ears.

 

Step 14


Apply a half width of duct tape to extend over the wedge.

 

Step 15


Attach one end of tape around right ear, keeping wedge in position.

 

Step 16


Wrap remainder of tape around left ear.

 

Step 17


Apply tape to the back of the ears in the same manner as you
applied the front. End results should have the ears standing
equally and well balanced.
