ARE GIANT SCHNAUZER PUPPIES THE CURE?

We all know giant schnauzers are an extremely intelligent breed of dog, but can they really act as our GP's and mental health professionals?  Ok, giant schnauzer puppies cannot cure depression, obesity or other health problems, but it does appear that they can act as a deterrent and help to improve overall mental and physical health.  Coming home to happy and excited giant schnauzer puppies will likely bring a smile to the face of any owner  The resulting tail wagging, face licking and general excitement can take the focus off of the problems of the day, if only temporarily.  While a temporary relief from life's worries can do a world of good for a person's stress level, the benefits of pet ownership seem to go far beyond simple distraction.

giant schnauzer puppies and other pets offer one thing that we humans receive from few others like us - not just companionship, but unconditional love.  This unconditional love can relieve loneliness and provide psychological and physical comfort for each pet owner.  The studies in this area are vast, showing an array of advantages for pet owners, but each seems to come to the same conclusion: pet owners receive benefits not seen in non-pet owners.  For example, the simple act of petting giant schnauzer puppies or other dogs has been shown to cause a drop in a person's blood pressure.  Even more revealing, being petted similarly causes the dog's blood pressure to drop.  There can be little doubt of a bond between owner and pet when this simple interaction has such amazing results.  Similarly, a study of heart attack victims has shown that those who had pets have about a five times survival rate of patients that are non-pet owners.  Having giant schnauzer puppies in your home seems to be good for your heart literally and figuratively.

In addition to making a person forget their problems, giant schnauzer puppies may be able to heighten a person's mood by increasing their social interaction.  giant schnauzer puppies are active puppies, they enjoy working, walking, jogging and other activities.  In one survey, forty percent of those people who own dogs believed they made friends more easily because of the dog.  People seem more trusting and more willing to talk with a person walking a dog.  In addition, the giant schnauzer puppies can be a conversation starter for other owners and dog lovers.  Without saying a word, giant schnauzer puppies can start a conversation!  So, not only can walking your giant schnauzer puppies help you to keep in shape physically, but they may assist in making new friends and acquaintances.

Again, giant schnauzer puppies will not cure all that ails you nor are they a substitute for physical checkups or prescription medication.  However, a good dose of giant schnauzer puppies can be like a multi-vitamin for your heart and head.  To learn more about the health benefits of owning a pet, talk to your veterinarian or your physician.
